Fifteen years behind the chair. Marcus is the one to see for classic scissor cuts, side parts and hot towel shaves. Ask him about the pole out front.
About & visit88 Foundry Lane
A small shop with a long memory for how you like your hair.
Marcus cut hair out of his kitchen for six years before he found the old print shop at 88 Foundry Lane.
He kept the brick, the big front window and the name of the street, and put in three chairs: one for him, and two for barbers he'd trust with his own regulars.
The rule hasn't changed since day one. Appointments are spaced so nobody gets rushed, everyone gets a proper consultation, and if you're not happy when you look in the mirror, we fix it before you leave.
Visit
Two doors down from the hardware store, on the same side. Look for the striped pole and the big front window.
Parking: metered street parking out front, free after 6 pm and all day Saturday after noon. There's a free lot behind the hardware store; walk through the alley and you'll come out at our door. Bike rack by the window.
Access: one level, no steps from the street, and a wide door.
