Sentinel Fire Protection

Part two · The campaigns

A photo and a price for every fix.

Read reviews of fire protection vendors and two complaints dominate: surprise bills ($230 to tag two extinguishers in five minutes) and inspectors who "find" a $16,000 problem that another vendor passes two days later. Nobody is searching for "peace of mind." These ads promise property and facilities managers the opposite of those two experiences.

Voice

Calm, precise, and plain. Uses the words managers use (tags, the panel, the fire marshal), not vendor words like "life safety solutions" or "AHJ." No flames, no fear.

Target

Property, facilities, and HOA managers responsible for commercial buildings. They're judged on passed inspections and clean paperwork. Most have been burned by a surprise invoice or a vendor who stopped showing up.

Campaign plan: what this would look like with a real budget

Goal

40 inspection or quote requests a month, and 10 multi-site accounts moved to one annual service agreement each quarter.

Test budget

$3,000 a month: 70% Google Search (that's where the buyers are), 20% Meta retargeting, 10% remarketing to past quote requests.

Timing

Search runs weekdays, 7am to 6pm, when managers are at their desks. Reminder emails run off each client's own due dates.

How we measure it

Cost per qualified request, calls from ads, quote-to-contract rate, and renewal rate on service agreements.

Ad 1: "Surprise quote" (cold, no scare tactics)

Primary text
Did your last fire inspection end with a surprise quote? Every problem we find comes with a photo, the code section, and a written price. Nothing gets fixed until you approve it. Holding a quote you don't trust? Send it over and we'll give you a second opinion, free.

Property managers, facilities managers, HOA managers, and restaurant owners in the metro area, plus site visitors from the last 60 days.

A tablet screen showing one line of a real deficiency report: a photo of a corroded sprinkler head, "NFPA 25," "$184," and two buttons, Approve and Decline. Plain light, documentary feel. No flames, no smoke.

The thinking

The strongest complaint in fire protection reviews is the inspector who also sells the repair. One HOA manager was quoted $16,000 for failed backflow valves, then another vendor passed both of them two days later. Most buyers have heard some version of that story, so this ad offers proof and a price before anything happens, and openly invites a second quote. That's the opposite of a scare tactic. The free review is aimed at the manager holding a quote they don't trust.

Ad 2: "One tech" (retargeting)

Primary text
Four vendors means four schedules, four invoices, and four chances that somebody doesn't show up. Sentinel handles extinguishers, alarms, sprinklers, and kitchen hood systems with our own techs, never subcontractors. You get one lead tech who knows your buildings, one calendar, and one invoice. We book every inspection 30 days before it's due, so you never have to chase us.

Creative direction
A photo of a real Sentinel tech in a building's riser room with a name badge that's easy to read ("Marcus, your lead tech"), and one line of text: "You'll see him every visit." Clean, corporate, reads in two seconds.

The thinking

"One vendor for everything" is already a headline for other regional shops, so on its own it doesn't stand out. The detail behind it is what makes it believable: the same lead tech every visit, and work done by Sentinel's own people, which answers reviews complaining that a national brand subcontracts and marks up the work. Reviews about vendors who stopped showing up are the other half of the pain, and "we call you" answers them. It only runs as retargeting, because this buyer needs a few touches before asking for a quote.

The thinking

Someone searching "fire extinguisher inspection near me" usually has a date coming up, and every ad they see says "peace of mind" and "full-service." These headlines answer what buyers actually complain about in reviews: surprise surcharges, repairs done without a price, and techs who don't show. Buyers never say "AHJ" or "ITM," so the ad says "fire marshal" and "tags." Negatives like "residential" and "training" keep out homeowners and people studying for a certification.

Welcome email header

Your compliance calendar is ready.

We logged every fire system at 412 Industrial Pkwy and mapped out when each one is due. We'll book each visit about 30 days ahead, so you're never the one chasing us. Today's walkthrough found three small items. Each has a photo and a price in the calendar. None are urgent, and nothing gets done until you approve it. If the fire marshal or your insurer asks for reports, send them this link.

Exits when
They open the calendar. No open in 2 days: dispatch calls to walk them through it.
Goal
Hand over what they paid for (a tracked calendar) on day one, and show the photo-and-price promise in action.

The thinking

Property managers hire Sentinel so they can stop tracking this stuff. So the welcome email doesn't say thanks and then pitch something. It hands them what they paid for on day one: a calendar with every date on it. The three items found on the walkthrough show the core promise in action right away (photo, price, your call) and say plainly that none of them are urgent. In reviews, the vendors people stay with are the ones who "call every year" and are "honest about what I didn't need." It's signed by the lead tech, because a name beats "the dispatch team."

Sends

Exits when

Goal
Keep every client on schedule without them lifting a finger.

The thinking

A reminder that only says "you're due" hands the manager homework. This one comes with a time already held, so confirming takes one click. The price is in the email because surprise invoices are the top complaint about this industry, and "same price as last quarter" answers it before anyone asks. The code and the address in the subject show it's about their building, not a mass email. The 7-day follow-up only goes out if they haven't confirmed.

See how it all ties together on the site.
